Founded in 1989, Skytrax is an international air transport rating organization based in London. It is dedicated to improving customer experience quality for airlines and airports worldwide.

Launched in 2000, the World Airport Star Rating is a unified global quality assessment system, recognized as an international benchmark for airport standards. It evaluates airport facilities and services through professional analysis, awarding ratings from 1 to 5 stars—with 5 stars representing the highest overall quality performance.

Paris-Charles de Gaulle remains Europe’s leading airport

Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport has reaffirmed its position as Europe’s leader by being voted "Best European Airport" for the third consecutive year in April 2024. According to Skytrax, it holds a 4-star airport certification, recognized for its facilities, comfort, cleanliness, retail, food & beverage offerings, staff, and security processes.

According to Skytrax, "Paris-CDG has made numerous improvements over the past two years and is nearing the global standard of a 5-star airport rating, with many aspects of CDG now meeting the highest quality requirements. […] Paris-CDG Airport clearly has the potential to achieve 5-star airport status."

A success for Groupe ADP’s hospitality strategy

At the same awards ceremony, Paris-Orly was named "Best Regional Airport" in Europe, climbing nine places in the global rankings.
